He says in his post that it's for a work syndicate. Well, before people get pedantic, he doesn't use the word syndicate... but it's all the emboldened part can mean.
Im poor I need monies, thanks
No one won the jackpot, but look at these lucky 26 people from the UK!
Match 5 + 1 Star - 8 - £280,394.00

“The Lottery, with its weekly pay-out of enormous prizes, was the one public event to which the proles paid serious attention. It was probable that there were some millions of proles for whom the Lottery was the principal if not the only reason for remaining alive. It was their delight, their folly, their anodyne, their intellectual stimulant. Where the Lottery was concerned, even people who could barely read and write seemed capable of intricate calculations and staggering feats of memory. There was a whole tribe of men who made their living simply by selling systems, forecasts, and lucky amulets. Winston had nothing to do with the Lottery, which was managed by the Ministry of Plenty, but he was aware (indeed everyone in the party was aware) that the prizes were largely imaginary. Only small sums were actually paid out, the winners of the big prizes being nonexistent persons.”

What is the highest the Euromillions can go up to again ? £160 million ? why do they put a cap on it anyway.
€190million. The pound limit is whatever the exchange rate of that is at any given time but it's roughly around £160million.

Jealous of whoever possibly wins today or Friday then, pretty much getting the maximum value out of the draw at this point. If I did win £157 million there'd be no complaints at 21 years old, but I'd imagine I'd miss out on a bunch of character building struggles the world has prepared for me during the next decade.
Could be a slippery slope given my age and lack of responsibility at this point in my life, I'd like to think I'm mature and level headed but £157 million would be a dangerous amount to just be given out of thin air. I'd enjoy my life no doubt but a drug overdose would maybe only be a day away![]()
If you do win and want to experience the struggles....let me look after the money for you until you reach 30 (arbitrary number pulled out of thin air there) and I will pass it back.
Am sure we can work out a small amount to be passed to you for general living and also my handling / minding fee
I'd rather not, just bringing up an imaginary situation where I'm a far worse human being than I am currently.
