Do it online. You never have to check or remember where you left your ticket again. And you can set so many lines for so many weeks in advance too. I haven't bought a physical ticket in years.

I stick £20 in and use it to put a line on for the Euro and National for a couple weeks. Saves me having to remember to put lines on every week.

Put £10 on my account and did 2 Euro's, 1 Lotto and 2 Thunderballs.

Used the remaining £3 on 2 Instant Wins and won £40!

Got 44 tickets in our work syndicate. We only ever enter rollovers though, hence the large amount and it means that winnings would be ultimately life changing, rather than sharing £10M between 20 of us. Whilst £500k-£1M would be life changing to an extent, it would still mean you would have to be careful and probably couldn't retire (if you use the money for a house etc).
