Euromillions

If you won £111m, that's tax free? And if you got a 3% interest account (guess you can't actually get one account to hold £111m), earning £3.33m a year. You would be taxed on that at 45%? So around £1.8m per year just on interest, you wouldn't really need to spend the winnings!

Aren't there special banks for the mega rich?

Something rings a bell about bank accounts for normal people having a limit of £9m. One would be sensible to have the winnings in instalments.

Exactly, I would share will friends and family and people on here at random intervals.

I bought a couple of lottery tickets thinking it was for normal lottery.... saw an advert for Euromillions and thought why not.... got back and found out that I'd already bought 2 lines... so I have 4 now. Oops...

Ah well, you gotta be in it to win it.

£100,000 would change my life!

It's not quite as simple as that as you need to re-invest some of the interest to take into account inflation and the falling overall "value" of your savings pot.

Yeh i'm sure there is.

I'd heard you get a financial adviser offered when the money is collected etc?

edit: I got 3 tickets.

I heard you only get a financial adviser if you go public - so that's me looking out for myself again.

At least nobody else won it either ;)

To be frank, I just need £150,000 - that's my dream career sorted (which I've - realistically - resigned myself to never having).
