Impossible to say, did Messi have his first real summers rest and actually look rested and at his very best.... or did they just play a crap team to start off with. Where Real poor, or did they just play an improved Valencia, and have less of their players have a decent summer off?
Answer is, who knows, should be interesting and I really want to see Song stuck on the bench, or come on and look like a joke in comparison. Knowing that whole "new signings has confidence" thing Song will come on and score a winner.
Only problem is having an El classico so early in the season, the games are just better, and more meaningful when we see 2-3 of them towards the end of the season, a league game where the result is crucial to the title and cup games which matter. When you get a season with 38 el classico's and one side dominates them all the ones at the end of the season end up crap.
