European Grand Prix 2012, Valencia - Race 8/20

The only thing I can blame Lewis for in that incident is him deciding to try and hang on and battle with Maldonado he should have known how that was gonna end.

It was spaghetti's fault but would rather have had Hamilton take a dent in his pride and taken 4th as he was obviously struggling.

If he cant come back on track when squeezed wide where does he go? Cut the corner? He did turn back unto LH though slightly and that'll be a punishment. Who the hell is gonna win this championship?

Pastor was to blame, but Lewis did force him out there and he should have used his new found sensible head and let it go, even then he probably would have lost places to MS and Webber.

Maldonado should be banned, I hate him, total idiot.

Let's not forget Alsono had a lot of luck today, people dropping out from in front of him and McLaren jack breaking, I'm sure Ferrari International Assistance kicked and and sorted it all out for him :p

You take the escape road or lift off and slot back in behind. You don't turn back onto the track into the side of another car.

Pastor shouldn't have driven into Hamilton, the incident was his fault. But Hamilton should have just given the space up I reckon. But to be fair, had Pastor stayed racing, rather than steering straight into Lewis, Lewis may have kept the place with some good defending...

Must say Fernando got a bit lucky with Hamilton's stop + Vettel, falling out, but he still deserves it :)

My views on the matter, hamilton was online and on track, pastor was not, pastor rejoined the track by turning right and into hamilton, therefore pastors fault for dangerous driving and ramming another driver yet again. Pastor should have slowed down, slotted onto the back of hamilton and took him like candy from a baby in the final corner.

If there was 3 or 4 laps left, sure, abandon the place but so close to the end, having already kept him behind for a good half lap, I think he's perfectly right to be defending the position still.

As has been said - you shouldn't be giving up places because people might just ram you off the track if you try and defend.
