Everyone on the planet knows that ALL of the best music in the world has come from the US/Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia (basically the English speaking world); the competition last night proved that by the fact that all of the songs were crap. Eurovision is a joke and is nothing to do with music, if it was just about the music there is no way on the planet we would ever lose.
Remove ourselves immediately and let Borat and his mates pay for the farcical iddly-diddly trash that they churn out.
/plays decent British rock music very loudly as a lone voice of protest.![]()
PERREA PERREA!!!
My God you little Englander! What utter poppycock.

On the basis that even a well performed, good song from the UK is never going to be anywhere other than the bottom of the table, I believe it should be our national duty to take the mick out of eurovision every year from now on.
I intend to start composition of next year's UK entry titled 'douze points' which will highlight the ridiculous political voting with such lines as:
'who cares what the song is like, if you're our neighbour you'll get.... douze points'
'you supply all our oil and gas, so we'll get no more if you don't get our...douze points'
and
'we used to be in civil war, so to avoid another we'll give you our... douze points'
all I need now is the catchy tune...![]()
So how many points did england give Poland?
You need 3 songs, sounds like an advert for 3 songs taking the mick out of eurovision. Eurovision, I got a great name, Politicalvision song contest.
Nothing??? NO point? Wow I am surprised, thought they would get the full 12 the amount of polish in this country!
Go on then, name the artists that have been amazingly successful and have changed the face of music that haven't been from the Anglophone world?
It is acceptable for Borat and his mates to be little Balticers but not for me to be a little Englander, right.![]()
Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Rammstein, ABBA and there's shed loads of classical music coming from Russia etc. etc.

Sir Terry Wogan said he may quit as the BBC's Eurovision commentator, as the UK entry sung by former X Factor finalist Andy Abraham finished in last place.
Sir Terry cast doubt on his role after saying this year's results showed it was "no longer a music contest".
