August last year my EV6 went into limp mode. Was able to drive the 4 miles or so (at 25mph) to the dealer. ICCU was replaced after a couple of weeks. I'd previously had the updates. Apparently the software updates reduce the frequency that surges happen, and so effectivelt just push the issue down the line a bit.Anyone with a KIA/Hyundai had the dreaded 'Check Electric vehicle system' error message?
Came up on my GV70 this morning, despite having already gone in for the recall work to replace the ICCU
The AA are on the way, luckily I am at home.
Could just be a 12V battery issue I guess....
But I just noticed this weekend that my car will not charge from any DC chargers, only AC. Tried 5 different DC chargers. I very rarely use a DC charger, so this was the first time I'd tried it since the ICCU was replaced. Apparently another subsystem (VCMS ?) can sometimes be taken out when the ICCU goes. However I'd assume that would produce an error code on it's own which would have been picked up by the dealer at the time. Anyway, it's booked in to get looked at.
