EV general discussion

Had a Golf R, it's not exactly the paradigm of driver fun. It's a slightly better golf with a 4 pot turbo and 4wd...

I'll take my EV any day, on average it's so much better even if the rare odd time I get to 'have fun' isn't as much fun

GT button is scary as hell. It’s like the car is trying to kill you.

“Yep you now have all the power and everything set to max oh and by the way we have switched of traction control too good luck”

Why…lol.

I'm giving her all I've got, Captain.

( software controlled vehicles should allow you to define the synthesised voice )

Sounds like the boost button on my GV70

Barely used it. Feels like the front tyres are barely connected to the road when I press that.

varifocals are what I use - but any cars with digital rear view mirrors would be out - megane e-tech would be problematic, possibly digital side mirrors too.
maybe most cars now have this but (like audi) being able to put the speed in large digits in centre of instrument panel is useful, especially for decelerating on upcoming speed zones.

did you discard mach-e - also sub 20K - forget who posted pictures of their nice yellow one.
I considered the Mach E. I really like them and interior looks nice with good range.

The warranty on the Hyundai is swinging it at the moment.
