I’ve only seen one so far. I’ll be honest, I thought it was a an old Porsche at first but I only briefly saw it for a few seconds in a wing mirror.
There are absolutely shed loads of MG4’s around my way now. Not quite Tesla common but they are getting up there.

Mines OV70 doesn't have Pivo though. Android Auto works well so don't really feel I'm missing anything.
Now I've got over the must charge at first charger I see, I'm now more choosy about chargers and will look for faster chargers.
Personally, I don't find its range an issue. Only once in 6 months have I been messed around at a charger point. All the fast ones were gone and that services tesla chargers hadn't been enabled for non tesla.
I race RC in Cardiff every fortnight. There are two chargers where we race but both are broken, sigh. I have to put a quick 10/15 fast charge in to get home. I'll be taking it to Le Mans next year.
Tons of chargers in the way to Le Mans and Tesla are open to all in France too

60 isn’t motorway speeds. And 1hour to do 36 miles doesn’t sound like a typically journey. You probably used most that energy trying to keep the car warm ?
I have 12k miles of tronity data and sat at 70 is 3.8-3.9. Even an ID Buzz will do 3.1-3.2 at 70mph.

21MY started April build so sounds like that’s a late private registered car from Oxford area to get the new plate.
Services in France are ace for charging, stick to fresh mile, enginie, tronity and fasned on the roads. Tesla chargers are for people who like Chogging late at night in the dark.

Pretty good going, can imagine loads of people advising you that 60MPH is too slow and that isn't a 'real' speed people travel at, unless you are doing 90 in the outside lane why bother, eh?
Nice that you avoided the charger requirement as well, saves thinking about it and just get back instead.
It isn’t on a clear motorway ! It’s actually terrible IMO sub 3m/kWh at such a low speed. You are the one person who talks a lot about efficiency so I have no idea how you can say that’s pretty good going. A real speed is 70. Pushing it in a EV is 80. Sitting at 90 in an EV is just a way to spend a lot of time at chargers.
I can only assume the car doesn’t have a heat pump and the heating was on something like 25C.

How much was the preconditioning using? That has to be factored in to be fair (and accurate)
It means your claim to be getting up to 5mi/kWh at 70 in a Cupra Born is nonsense and you know it. Your posts and content are usually better than that.
I thought they preconditioned before leaving, so might be assuming it was preconditioned while plugged in?
Don’t think I said that. I said at 60 it’s prob 4.5-5m. Not that I really care that much. It’s my alternative to my V8 but I don’t really drive it that hard and interested in the effects of usage on consumption. Best commute of 14miles is 5.8 in summer though. Lifetime average is 3.6 I think as I don’t worry too much about energy use if it means no extra stop. Speed is the obvious killer of range. Along with how many clothes your are wearing in the winter and of course rain has a great ability of slowing the car and cooling the battery. Tbh on a long trip I will charge it on a 7kW timed to finish when I leave so the battery is warm etc. mainly so I don’t have to stop.
I like the MEB platform and it’s honesty . If you use aircon to pre warm the car it includes that on the next journey energy use. Other OEMs seem to ignore stuff like that ( and overnight power drain)

The new MEB wet motors looks decent. Better range and the AP550 210kW motor torque is impressive going to 550Nm from the 310 of the current 150kW. More winding and better thermal management with the oil cooled wet motor.
Stuff like the id3 and cupra would be pretty rapid with 286hp rear motor. Although they are power limited until about 25mph so I guess the 0-60 will still be relatively high.
