Is the buzz even big enough to get full sheets of plasterboard in the back?

Edit: non cargo buzz with the seats folded or removed.

I haven't checked TBH - that would have basically zero impact on the decision, just an example of the type of use which might be useful once in a blue moon :)

Oh yeh I totally get it, it would definitely be useful.

I do a lot of DIY and getting large materials in the car is a pain in the rear. But short of getting a full blown van, sheet materials are usually off the cards full stop

That said a timber merchant just opened up about 8 mins talk from my house so I can get wood without vehicle now, well one at a time :p

Roof rack, I've had plasterboard sheets on a roof rack many a time over the years, usually use some wood to support and some small ratchet straps, but I'd do live pretty close to various DIY stores and building merchants.

I've happily done timber sheet materials many times, but I'd be a bit more nervous of plasterboard! Sticking it on the roof is also somewhat weather dependent.

It was more the point of describing a personal computer as "garage equipment".

Anyways, I'm off to the workshop to fire up my ZX81 to input some mileages.
:D
Whatever you think it is, it's still equipment to do the job.

My brother probably still has his ZX81 and his Spectrum, can't remember if I used his, or had my own, but i did extensive machine code/assembly programming on the Spectrum.

Well decided against Polestar 4 in the end, my 'sensible' brain won out (+ the insurance costs were a bit bonkers), went for a Peugeot e-5008 GT in the end £350 pcm, insurance is £35 :D

It was never in consideration for me, that boot is not dog friendly :(.

Amazing lease deal around at the moment for it though.

Did we see Top Gear Magazine voted the new ix3 car of the year? Bearing in mind there is an embargo until December 4th, it must be fairly good

"The furniture is beautifully tranquil. It drives like a BMW ought to. Not like a bulky EV crossover, or soulless digital first zombiemobile."

When I was looking to replace my mpv the 5008 was a strong contender. Lots of space. OH felt it was too big. Might have been a better choice in hindsight.

Peugeot have upped their game, my other half has had an e-208 on a £179 pcm lease for a couple of years and it’s been great, I love driving it, it’s like a little rollerskate. She’s able to claim mileage for work and some months she almost pays for car!

Range on e-5008 isn’t really an issue, owning the IPACE taught me range anxiety is just that. I guess I will miss the acceleration of the IPACE but honestly with the amount of traffic on the road is than even a thing now.

Everything I’ve seen says the cabin and the seats etc are pretty spot on, looking forward to all that lovely boot space with the third row down

I'd like to try out a Peugeot just to see if me tarring all Stellantis products with the same brush based on my Vauxhall experience is unfair.

The e-208 for example, I assumed that was the same as the Corsa electric and my one experience of one of those was that at 70mph it had the ride composure of a bucking bronco! Nippy little thing though.

I have always felt Peugeot got a bum wrap to be honest. from the 205 (why they are not going ahead to head with the R5 indo not know, imo the pug 205 is just as iconic) , the the pug 306 (my 1st car), my mates 1st car a 106 which got a total battering but survived it well . I almost bought a 306 GTI6, that was a fantastic motor and such fun on a test drive but got a fiat coupe instead. we then ended up with a pug 308 which whilst not notable in anyway was just a solid car to get A to B and we only got rid 18 months ago after it lost an argument with a civic and an ambulance (it was economically written off but it's side impact did well safety wise)

the new electric offerings are nice inside and out. I would have no qualms buying a pug again.

I never understood the p... taking they always had.

The newly revised 308 ev estate electric with 55k bat looks nice and you get the 1500 ev , made in europe, grant.

saw this on 330e battery module fix costs, the app for showing battery state/balancing is what djmk4ev will need

Had my Hypervolt installed on Thursday afternoon and enjoying not having to use the granny changer anymore. Bought it direct from Hypervolt with their installation service. Everything was handled by Bumblebee EV, and the installation was carried out by Green Spark Electrics. The service throughout by all parties was excellent. Ordered it on Sunday 16th, and installed on Thursday 27th which was a much quicker turnaround than i expected.

I had a 3008 Diesel until earlier this year. The way they handled things at the end meant I would never use or recommend Stellantis ever again. Loved the car though, when it worked.

Pug got grief purely because the stuff they churned out after the 306 etc was so utterly gash it was unbelievable. It’s only the last 6-7 years they have started to make nice cars again.

It was after the 306 that things went downhill very badly and very quickly, they made fantastic cars up until that no question.

I had a 306 estate and it was a really good car, but about the time the 206 came out it all starting to go to pot.

Hopfully they'll turn it around as they can make attractive cars, i fear they'll always be hamstrung by the larger Stelantis nonsense though which is a real shame :(
