Its not a huge cost difference is in reality, £8-9 on top of what you would have normally paid, still hugely cheaper than ICE. Octopus are probably waging the bigger users are mainly company car drivers, who will just make a little less money, but still be quids in.
I am not getting rid of my EV but with per mile fees, a.£200 VED and now potentially significantly more costs for charging if you tend to do long journeys Incan see why some feel it's been a rough period for EVs.
yes they are generally still cheaper than an ice but the gap is significantly smaller now for 2nd hand cars.


. Totally miscalculated the distance I had to drive and the warning came up at 10%. The dynamic range said another 31 miles were available but it was night, lights and all the ancillaries that come with winter driving were on so I knew it would lower be than that. I wasn't worried though (honest!) and got home with 6% remaining.
