So 4th Time Lucky...CLA 250+ went back yesterday after being rejected due to a long list of issues which were't resolved and in some cases getting worse.

So back to Audi, this time an A6 Etron Avant Launch Edition Performance in Plasma Blue which look brilliant. It has just about every option on it, including the side cameras and adjustable panoramic roof, 8,000 miles and was registered before the 30/3/25 so isn't subject to the increased road tax.

Driven it back from Coventry this afternoon and so far really pleased, just pottling along and got 3.3mi/kw in balanced mode so not even in economy which gives a range north of 300 miles. Everything seems to work (so far...touch wood etc etc) and really pleased with it. Left it doing some app updates and will be putting my plate on in sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Loved the style and look of the new Cupra Raval, but they've not revised the interior as much has they could/should have, will have to see what VW/Skoda do.

 
Another deal heads-up if you aren't looking for a Tesla on a sub £300pm lease. You can get the Hyundai Ioniq 6 77kWh Premium, on a 1+35, 6k miles for £295 per month, or 8k miles for £308, 10k miles for £321pm etc. As of today they had option colours at no extra costs presently, via Stonearce Hyundai Chesterfield, or call the Stonearce fleet leasing team.

It’s so weird looking. Not ugly IMO like BMWs but kinda just makes me feel a bit uncomfortable?

Front is alright but it’s just the back of it, creeps me out :P

It's not conventionally styled, very much a marmite car ion looks terms, although the external colour seems to impact the feeling you are getting more. Really like the interior in the light grey, and it is quite a comfortable ride. Still great price if you like marmite. :D

It is a bit grey but also quite a lot blue, changes in the light and does not photograph well to reflect the actual colour. I like it a lot, much better in the metal than i thought it'd be from the audi website photos.
 
Emailed Cleevely just to see how much they'd charge for a service/brake fluid change out of interest...pricey and for some reason VAG cars cost extra.
Nearly £150 just to change the brake fluid.
I suppose you're in part paying for the convenience of them doing it on the drive but then I can pay VW to collect and deliver and it works out about the same.

What was the total service cost they gave you? Or were you only interested in the brake fluid prices? If VW are the same price then your dealer sounds cheap compared the one near me, they quoted £270+ for the first 2 year interval service on an ID.3, which seems steep for what you get from them.

The basic service which would be the same as the VW inspection plus brake fluid came to £370, local VW dealer was within a couple of quid.

If I wanted their major service which just adds them striping and lubeing the brakes it's tickling £400. The brake fluid price just surprised me as VW and local indies generally quote roughly half that price.

Local HEVRA garage will do the inspection/fluid for just under £230.

If I don't want VW to do the cabin filter, I could save £70. Which is ridiculous for a £20 filter that I reckon my toddler could change in 2 minutes.
