I disagree, we are getting more real world experiences from a very broad set of people and the reactions people have are overwhelmingly positive. Many of those same people wouldn't touch normal 'autopilot' and nannying 'aids' with a barge pole for all the personal preference reasons I'm sure many also share.
i.e. it looks more revolution than evolution and demonstrably it is convincing many people in the "anti" camp that it has some serious utility..
And if you listed the salient points in order of priority in most experiences I've seen, driving 'aids' is very low on the list.. in fact most reviewers only postulate this will be good for the less confident, or reduce accidents as a side note..
