As an old rocker I think Evanescence are very good and I will be buying the album somethime this week. Amy Lee is hot and I am getting worried as I think I am starting to get attracted to the whole sexy Goth look! :eek:

Yeah! I take your point mate,I was a bit bladdered when I wrote that.I don't normally dismiss others preferences,I generally leave that to others on these forums,Penski for instance!

I standby my statement that Tool,Maiden and Accept are great bands though!

I pre-ordered The Open Door on friday for £7.99 and it's still not here... I just went upto Virgin and they're selling it for £7.99!!! SO ANGRY!!! I'm never buying online again...

I could have had it monday morning at 10am but now it looks like i could be getting it 2 - 5 days late!!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I'm going to buy a new hi-fi to compensate for getting it late and for my angryness...

You could throw the same oneliner for just about every music genre - modern day death by numbers, pop by numbers, techno, teen punk you name it. no one is waiting for another Led Zeppelin anymore. There are no genres to be discovered. So one has to appreciate the little mercies.

Blimey. Saved me a few squids there because I saw it for £11.97 in hmv today but never purchased it. Looking forward to hearing the album when I get it on Friday

There's something about the new ablum, i just dont think the songs suit her voice. It almost sounds like she's having to hold back a little in the songs, she's some set of lungs on her and the songs should allow for that. In my opinion there is also no real stand out songs as on the first album. If im honest i find it fairly disappointing.
