I was at a work awards thing last night and there were quite a few famous people there. Not hollywood celebs, but people like William Roach (Ken Barlow from Corrie), Stuart Hall (It's a Knockout) Gillian Kearney (brookside, casualty) etc

Now being 24, I didn't really know a lot about Stuart Hall, but he was hilarious and extremely inappropriate. When he was on stage, he was talking about an elephant giving him a **** job, he was extremely touchy feely with a female friend of mine, grabbing her bum, talking about sex objects, etc. He was actually quite racist too.

Bill Roach was really nice and friendly, happy to get a picture with us and was pretty much how I'd 'expect' him to act. And Gillian Kearney was lovely, so friendly and down to earth, went and got her own drinks, didn't expect to be given any special treatment at all.

How about you guys? Had any inappropriate encounters with celebs/famous people?

I've met loads of famous people, upwards of about 100 I'd say. Only one was a dick the rest were pretty cool.

In 2010 met UB40 - amazing bunch of guys, really down to earth.

'Met' the Indian and England cricket teams. When I say met, I briefly got to say hi, shake hands and get a pic with a few of them. Great bunch of guys, I felt that Stuart Broad was a bit of a tool, but certain guys like Matt Prior and Rahul Dravid were absolute gentlemen.

A few others, can't really remember.

Threw one of them out of a festival for doing something he really shouldn't have been.
Met lots through work, most of the older ones are just normal people some of the younger ones have their heads so far up their own rectum they're almost doughnut shaped.

I met Jimmy Saville.

:(

I've got a picture of Gary Glitter holding me as a baby :)

The look on the mans face as well

Loads in metal through being a promoter. Ray Alder was one of my favourites. Most people won't know who is here, but he's very big in prog metal.

Bwuhahahahahahahhaha :p

edit - Kerry Katonna used to be a neighbor and she is vile. Didn't know whether to mention her or not because the thread states famous people and well, shes not unless you read OK magazine.

I met Tony Robinson, he was a gent. I happened to be sat on a golf buggy in the way of his filming of Lincoln Castle at the time. I was driving a wedding couple, anyway I moved and he went off to do his 'take'. When the couple came out of the castle and saw him with their photographer he even agreed to have a few photos with them and wished them all the best etc.

Chris Evans - monumental douche, may have been the drink though.

Gary Lineker - surprisingly tall! Didn't really speak, seemed ok though.

Top Gear presenters at various times, Clarkson is a bit up himself, Hammond is a genuinely nice bloke and James May is very abrupt when he wants something..

Most of the McLaren technical staff and drivers - Hamilton and Button - both of them very nice guys.

Also Jake Humphries, Martin Brundle, Eddie Jordan, David Coulthard.

Can tell I used to work in a pub owned by an ex-racing driver..
