Ever met anyone famous? Were they like what you expected?

Only two sort of major ones

Cat Deeley (i was on Stars in Their Eyes kids..)- Very nice, i think a lot of it was put on though. Seemed a little fake but then she has to be really for that sort of show. Massive mole on her back as well FYI.

John Powell (film composer) - Really cool guy. Very humble and down to earth. Funny too.

I have met a few others but no one really of note.

Ben Shephard - drank a bottle of Jager with him. Incredibly nice guy.

The Queen - although just a handshake, I was a bit star struck

Prince Philip - hilarious. Talks absolute rubbish. Can't help but laugh.

David Schwimmer - nice guy, very approachable.
Simon Pegg - bit up himself but nice enough
Thandie Newton - nice girl, very petite
some of the Eastenders cast - what a bored bunch on set. :p
Andy Serkis - bit up himself but ok guy.
Dario Argento - nice guy
Shane Black - very down to earth
and a few others in various states of mind I don't want to get into! ;)

John Hartson - Absolute gentleman! I heard someone shouting me, asking for directions to the Kevin Bridges gig in Inverness. I couldn't believe my eyes when I turned round! This guy is a Celtic hero! :D I shook his hand and we chatted for a bit. I ran into him again later on when I was with my brother and he stopped to take pictures with everyone. Top bloke!

A good few years back was visiting my brother in Islington, went out for a afternoon drink in a hole of a pub, think it was called merlins cavern or suchlike, two drinks in I fancied a game of pool so put my money on the table and went back to drinking.

Guy at table shouts me five mins later telling me I'm on, picks up drink and walks over to pick a cue up from the rack on the wall, turns to see my opponent only to realise it's Suggs.

Now I'm from a small northern industrial town where there are zero celebs of any type, I'm 15 and playing pool against a bona fide musical legend (to me) would love to say I cleared up from the break and sauntered off cheekily uttering something suave and classy as I left.

I got the break and chipped the white off the table and under some grotty seating, spent two mins on my knees hand rifling through discarded dog ends and debris.

Replaced the white, Suggs broke with 2 shots in hand, cleared 5 balls then snookered me, he went on to win and I've never been back to London since due to my shame :(

tldr met Suggs the lead singer from Madness, he was very cool. I looked like a thick northern monkey

Walking alongside Edgbaston and the Aussie cricket team got off right in front of me, I told Shane Watson I'd had a bet on him being top runscorer and not to let me down, he replied "I'll do my best mate" and smiled...

He was out within half an hour of play. :(

Also bumped into John Parrott at Newton Abbot races once, quick word about the race and that was it but he was happy enough to have a chat. Big snooker fan so I was happy with that :p

Jimmy Carr. He makes a point of doing a signing after gigs, I queued up and he signed our program and shook my hand and asked if we had enjoyed the show.
Really nice guy :)

I met David schwimmer in a restaurant called 'The Spotted Pig' in New York, he was scoffing down a massive pile of shoestring fries. He seemed pretty nice, and he didn't mind when we called him Melman :D

My eyes went  when I saw the portions he loaded on his plates on set. Then again he's quite tall,so I don't blame him! :p

as a sound engineer working in rock n roll, and musical theatre i have met lots of so called 'stars' and some real stars,

after a while, especialy in a work enviroment, they all just seem so 'normal'

out of all the peeps i met, there was one person i worked with, who was a complete animal, Sherrie Hewson from corrie and loose women, i done Panto with her in Dartford a few years back,

couldnt remember lines, had to have them recorded to mini disc (spells) and then couldnt lip synch to them, so blamed the sound engineer (me)

the whole cast hated her, due to her inability to remember lines. typical TV actress, they remember the lines they need for a scene, and then dump them once its done

I met George Clooney and Bill Murray at a film premier once. George Clooney is ridiculously charismatic, I think light does actually shine out of his arse. Bill Murray was very funny, just as you'd expect him to be.

Colin Murray once tried to chat up my (then) girlfriend at a music festival. ... while I was holding her hand.:mad::mad:

met a few, nothing to brag about! Roberto Martinez (Wigan Athletic fc manager) came into work with his wife on wednesday! very polite, and very tanned!! wife wasnt up to scratch tbh :P
