just to see how honest people are really. Mine is pretty tame:

A mate got me to order something for them online using my PC and credit card (as they have neither) for £35. They gave me the me cash, i ordered the item and gave it to them once it was delivered. All above board ......... apart from the company never charged my card and this was about a year ago. I said nothing! :o

I took £300 from my flatmate's room and gambled with it.

Meh.
Ouch, that's pretty damn awful.

I've never ripped anyone off, but I have lent a friend £200 because he was in such a dire situation and needed £200 toward paying off past rent and getting himself back on his feet. I think he's getting somewhere now, and has a new job too. He would've ended up on the street if it weren't for me, so I like to think I did something honest and good.

Nice going mame. I'd have done the same, he didn't get ripped off, and you got a sort of card "rental" charge.

I've not really had the opportunity to rip off any of my friends, so I haven't. I would if it was the same case as yours, but not something that's actually harsh on them.

but did you win ;)

No. Any gamber who says they've won "overall" is lying.

and then replace the cash :p :D

I paid most of it back. I think I still owe him about £50. He was very nice about it when he should have bounced me off the walls.

Or lucky. :p

Overall in poker I've won about #40 more than I've lost.

Edit: I've only played it for money like 3 times, too.

i once put a mate in hospital, stole his car and broke it for spares

When you have a gambling problem you're in a different place mentally. You think you can win everything back and the 'next go' will settle everything. It's really poor. Thankfully I haven't done it for years now.

You're coming across as some sort of sociopath of late.

You're not totally wrong there.

not getting charged for it isnt ripping off your mate. It's a clerical error by the company in your favour.

Can't say i've ever ripped off a mate, but i've been pretty cruel to my enemies

:D

I like your style. But you do need to get some better mates.

nope, I've charged them interest on lending them money but i wouldn't really call it ripping them off, more like helping them out in a tight spot and they offered to repay the favour

never ripped off a mate but i sold a work collegue a broken phone for 20 quid before :) oh and i also sold students in our town centre some mud pretending it was something illegal when i was about 12 (wrapped it up tight in clingfilm lol)

I have about 6 friends who I am 100% sure would never screw me over and visa versa. I don't understand how mates can screw other mates over really... I suppose I'll learn the hard way eventually. :(
