never ripped off a mate but i sold a work collegue a broken phone for 20 quid before

Okay, so I don't want to judge you rashly but doing this just indicates that you're intrinsically not a nice person (read '****'). I don't get the mentality of ******* other people over for ones personal gain. £20? Don't you feel like a *****?

Went with my mate for him to trade in his Playstation 2 slimline and 6 games, they offered him £63 and he really needed the cash that day but they needed to see ID to give him cash upfront and he didnt have any. So being the good citizen I am I offered him £30 and took it back a week later to double my money :p

nah i didnt know it was broken when i sold it to him, but he acted like a wally about it so i didnt give him his money back. and yea i can see how it comes across but its the only time i ever done somming like that (hence remembering it even though it was years ago) and i was only 16 lol. i am a nice person really! also its no different to some things other people have done here. i bet most people here in thier lifetime have done somthing along those lines.

if i had stated i regularily do stuff like that maybe u could judge me like so, but it was a one off :P

Don't think I've ever ripped any individual off never mind a mate.

Although, around 10 years ago I did do some trades with one friend and blatantly got the better end of the bargain most of the time. To be fair though I lent him 4 cds in 1999 and still haven't got them back, so maybe we're even :)

Never ripped of a mate but did something so I could get more money off my parents. Back in secondary we used to go on army related goverment funded trips which were relatively cheap. I used to photoshop the consent letter so it showed double the cost of the trip, pay the school half and keep half for myself. :o

Last year when we started going to the pub after school we always invited the rich gimp for solely for the free drinks. Not exactly ripping off a "mate" though.

That's brilliant. :D

No. Not ever. We have kind of an unwritten rule amongst the group of friends that I have that we all look after each other.

For example..I had a champions league final ticket going spare and could have easily got over a grand for it. I sold it to one of my mates who didn't have one for face value.

Ive used some points I had gathered on a site to get about £20 off an order I was making for a mate using my card and pc but still charged him the full price he was expecting to pay, I dont really see this as a bad thing though im making 20quid and hes getting exactly what he paid for

i would not do that. I would have not mentioned it and put it on an auction site.
wouldn't blatantly rip anyone off these days. I was a right little so-and-so-and-so-and-so when i was a kid and i conned and ripped my parents off ruthlessly and constantly, but that's a child's prerogative. Was a tad light fingered when in shops too, but again, not anymore.

Never really done it to someone else but I did have a "mate" once that stole my ID, used it to take out a mobile phone contract, then he ran up a big bill and sodded off abroad, leaving me to pay every penny.

Last I heard he was back in Plymouth, but it's been too long to care now.

Could never rip anyone off let alone a friend, haven’t got the heart for it. If I didn’t have such a conscience however i'd have no problem with it, every person for themselves and all.
