True, I expect they didn't think that bugs had the intelligence to find their way in :D

I wonder whether future TFT models will feature a filter of some sort to cover up the cooling vents?

p.s. I don't even know how big the cooling vents are as I'm still using a CRT monitor!

These little ****s find a way into anything and everything, so I dunno how much of an option that is ;).

They don't have to be big, these "thrips" are tiny.
 
i have one in my screen the little **** been dead for a while, im buying a new screen so i dont care. but i might tryed pressured air to move the lil ****

there called Thunderbugs.
 
oh **** thats it, one has been running about all over for 3 days now and its gone and died in the MIDDLE OF MY SCREEN!!!!! im gonna rma it and cliam that they should have SEALED it!!!! :mad:
 
Well, Guess why I am here. Little ****er is in my £300 screen

edit/ just walked off the visible part of my screen lets hope it doesnt come back, now I am going to write some vb for a randomly moving group of 3 pixels that mimic the flies... *evil grin*

in all the TFT's that i've dismantled (about 11, 6 of them were desktop ones) they were all solid units. there was no space inbetween the diffusion layers and the Glass transistor plate for these evil-little bugs to fit.

i'm not sure why manufacturers decided to stop doing this.

whats it like to take one apart is it risky?

if i did so could i remove the dead bug.

there must have been. how else can you remove the plate otherwise? or how did they get it in there in the first place?
 
Happened to me the other day aswel. So annoying. Ended up turning the screen off and unplugging so it cooled down and then maybe the bug would fly/crawl away and not die inside!

So weird seeing it crawling around you desktop
 
I have just had this thing happen to my iMAC! :mad:

Stupid bugs are getting everywhere, and on my pc monitor (LG L1721B) I have had 2 bugs visit me on 2 concecutive nights.

Damn these bugs :S.

A bug on my screen..

I have a little black bug thing walking about my screen on the inside!!!! i can't get it out, i tried pressing screen on it and it doesn't affect it :( If it dies on the middle of the screen and i can't move it :mad:

Any ideas what i should do lol???
