Ever seen this before?

I saw one the other day. Came in from the side and walked straight off again. I honestly didn't believe that I had seen it until I saw this post.

Is this bug from Tawain where my screen was assembled?

If so, is is hazardous?

Should my TFT be speeded into quarantine?

I'm really scared now.

I had the same problem afew days ago, it died near the top of my screen, i just gave the top of the monitor a couple of firm thumps and it fell to the bottom where it can't be seen :)

I do hope thats sarcasum :)

Ok as i said it's died on the left of the screen where i can bloody notice it and it won't move if i bang screen or tip it :( :(

Anything else i could try?

rma. most manufatures are quite forgiving about bugs dying in tft's. if they wont, take it apart. but dont blame me if you ham-fist it and break the monitor lol

manufacturer, probably. try thr retailer first.

email them and ask?
Yeah i will but just didn't think a dead bug would be enough for them replacing the monitor.

well manufacturers do, and you could technically argue that its similar to dead pixels as explained above. Even though it isnt, it happens because their tft's arent sealed correctly

I had a bug on my Dell 2405FPW, after a little bit of quibbling the agreed to RMA and I got a 2407 in replacement :)
