I eventually found out that it was using Nvidia Profile Inspector that was causing my FG problem (also happened with Avatar Pandora).

Best to use DLSS Swapper to update DLSS/FG/RR files.

Quick question, what happens to mainframe expansions, do they transfer from ship to ship, or are they tied to the ship you use them on?

Mainframe Expansions are tied to the player, not the ship. So you'll probably need to adjust them for different ship classes as a Scout for example might need a different set up to a Bomber.
