I mean you are still on your ship. But on the planet rather than space. Done loads of those now
You'll soon be catching me up in my Hard playthrough that I do on our livestreams. I think I'm around level 25 in that save.
(I have played through the game once, but I have a stream save that I specifically use.)
Been trying to get on a couple of hours in each night lately. But not sure how long that will be for. Hopefully long enough to complete the game

Agreed. That said. I have a backlog of games to get through, so I don't play games completionist style much anymore these days.
Say Everspace 2. I could easily get more than 100 hours in it. But I will likely get 30 or so by doing main missions with some secondary ones etc. I will return to the game in the future to do more of the content in the base game and get the dlc
That's fair. I can't remember the last time I fully 100%'d a game tbh. Although after thousands of hours across the years (QA, playing & streaming), I can't imagine I'll do it in ES2 either.Agreed. Damn difficulty really spiked a lot. It feels like the game is saying you shouldn't be here yet. Go level up. Yet a quick search online says most people arrive here level 15. Most items I found that have a nice jump in stats are locked until level 19 
Maybe this is why I have read quite a few comments online mentioning the game is grindy. Up until this point it has not felt grindy to me. But I might have to grind a bit to level up.
Right now I am sniping from far and getting by. Once my ult is ready I go in darth vadar style (unlimited powaa) and make them melt. So much fun

I didn't have an issue until now and I am at least hallway through the game, if not more. The game just wants me to go do more side content. Which to be honest I am ok with as I am enjoying it
I can actually still push through, but i then have to keep doing the stay back out of their weapons range tactic until ult ready over and over. That is fine now and then for a boss battle or something, but not for every battle due to an elite almost one shoting you.

Maybe the game thought you'd got a little too comfortable in your nice shiny ship.
You know. I think that might be the issue. I need a new ship. I only ever upgraded once. Seen some ships for 150K region once in a shop but I only had 80K as I keep spending it on upgrading things. Going to save up and try a different ship me thinks
I think Noxia might have been right.
But grabbing some credits for a new ship might be helpful.
