I'll be on for some games tomorrow afternoon/night, spent about 7 hours playing it this afternoon when it turned up. Can't say much else other than it's been great, well other than the quick bit of abuse for being a lucky git when I fluked a hole in one

since getting this i've only really played the multiplayer, but decided to go through the single player a bit...
so far i've unlocked some new clubs and some weird lobby accessories... is it just a case of keep playing and you'll unlock new characters etc? that damn cowboy is doin my nutt...
bloody good game tho
tried to play online for the first time just and it says we have to log out cuz of maintenance

I got into my first multiplayer game last night. I thought I was doing pretty well at 4 under par after four holes, but there was three guys at the top of the leaderboard at 7 under!
I'm not sure if its just because I'm pants, or maybe I've reached the limit of my ability but.....well, at least there was some others below me
Oh, and what's the point in creating a game and making it so everyone has to pick the same player - is that standard? I realise it evens the odds a little, until you realise that some characters are far better developed for some players...
My only problem with it is how after you join a game, sometimes you have to hang around for ages waiting for it to kick off. Am I missing something here? It seems like games only start every 15 minutes and if you miss one because it's full, or you're 30 seconds too late, you're stuffed. It's probably just me being thick, but it seems like a rubbish system. Someone enlighten me if I'm wrong, please

The time thing only applies to tournaments I believe and it's probably to stop abuse of the system.

Yeah you should really be playing Single Player to get the good clubs/balls and special abilities. I've just got my novice character Sophie to Lvl 12 Loyalty (max) so I'm now moving onto my Intermediate chars (Unlocked 3 so far).
SP also unlocks new courses etc, Africa rocks.

RP2000 i tried adding you too but it tells me you have reached maximum friends!!!!!! how many is that?
im upto level 10 on the SP, it gets very hard on the desert levels (africa) lots of wind and bunkers. But it has made it interesting now. It tells me that to progress higher than level 11 you need to start getting pos 1 in every event instead of just beating the 'challange' player on that level. nearly there with that but i am now replaying most of the higer levels to gain 100%.
my max drive is 315+ yards now.
not got a hole in one yet but a good handfull of eagles with chip ins.
i havented touched GT5P all week!
see you lot on the greens.
