Hi,
i recently purchased a evga 8800gtx acs3 edition from ocuk,

it states on the website that the core runs at 630 and memory runs at 2000,
but when i start up ati tool or rivatuner it says my core is running at 600 and memory is 1800.

I have tried the latest drivers from the evga site 162.13 and others

Does anyone have any ideas why.

What speeds does it say on the retail box it came in....

I think you can enter the card S/N number on EVGA website and it will tell you which card you have...

WHY DON'T YOU JUST OVERCLOCK THE CARD TO THE ADVERTISED SPEEDS?

OR CHECK TO SEE THAT IT DOES GO TO THOSE SPEEDS IN GAMES USING RIVATUNERS CLOCK MONITOR.

I've got a standard clocked GTS overclocked quite a bit but when it's just sitting there the clocks drop back to default. Possible that yours is doing the same?

So just overclock it yourself to those speeds.

That would be too easy.

so what have i paid the extra cash for then, might as well have bought a standard gtx and overclock that

Should have saved yourself some money then, all gtx's clock to at least that clock.

But then he would have to have a 3rd party appz running for overclocking it...

Buts evga they dont mind if you overclock it yourself, plus its running at its stated speeds so nothing is wrong.
