EVGA 8800GTX NOT RUNNING AT CORRECT SPEEDS

Problem fixed - i emailed evga explaining the problem and they sent me the new official bios update.

its now running fine at:

core: 626
memory 2000
shaders: 1458

Yea thankfully evga have really good customer service - emailed them and had the reply and bios the next day.

What software did they send you for installing this new bios ??

its a self extracting file that extracts to a floppy, then you reboot and and it installs automaticly - it uses nvflash but does it all for you.

Yea was just about to say. He's paid for an overclocked version maybe he dosn't feel comfortable overclocking himself so why you all were telling him to just overclock it is useless.
