i am not a sales man, i am a hardware enthusiast

the fact that i am employed by OcUK has nothing to do with my love of fast computers [and the inevitably large price tag attatched to the fast computer]

I apologise unconditionally if I caused any offence to you as a person or as an enthusiast. You are an excellent ambassador for OcUK and their forums and there was nothing personally malicious intended in the comment.

that new pic D:

When i first saw i was like " wtf thats as square as a m-atx board "

Any idea on how you gunna get this to fit in a case? i think re drilling holes is in order if it fits...
Also isnt the core i9 1366 ? :) 12 cores anyone ?
I can imagine the mb bending with 2 huge heatsinks on it. I guess watercooling is the only safe solution of you are going to buy this bored.

its not i9

its still called i7 but is tagged as the 980x

it would fit in my tj07 width ways, but probaly not height wise

it looks to be as tall as the classified X4 SLI
probably best to put it in a bit lian li armoursuit or something that would have the extra pci brackets

Just what I've been waiting for currently running 2 x w5580 but the intel board doesn't come with any overclocking support unlike the skulltrail board for socket 771. Will be watching this thread :)

Will be scary power, my w5580 @ stock (3.33ghz with turbo) kick the ass off my old skulltraill setup which I ran @ 4.5ghz 24/7. The worst part about this is I have 2 sets of memory in my machine, one being ddr3 2000 and the other 1866 which wasn't a problem because this motherboard also caps @ 1333. So will probably need to sort out my memory also! Just away to set aside some funds can see a big upgrade (pointless one also as the machine isn't used to it's full capacity as it is) coming.

Just miss out on overclocking.
