Is that a TV wallmount I spy there? if so, is that not WAY too high?

no integrated washer and dryer :(

Also, those pro taps are nice to look at but become a real ball ache when you have to use them all the time in a normal kitchen environment

Chose not to have the appliances integrated to save on the cost of the cupboards in the utility.

No. The TV sits 3/4 lower than the centre of the bracket :)

looking back at the last page, it's a real shame you didn't go for a range, the first time I do any kitchen renovation I'm definitely getting a range! Had one in a rented property and they're so nice to cook with compared to even normal gas nevermind induction :) Otherwise really nice kitchen, good size :)

I like the window made out of newspaper... did you run out of cash for glass in that one? ;)

Make-shift blinds, until the curtains go up.

I can't stand cleaning range cookers. We have one where we are now and it gets on my wick when we cook something simple like bacon and you spend 20 minutes cleaning the grease from the nookes and crannies.

@AmTechFox.. we do have a spare room :p

Yes, what I great decision. They're crap.

Firstly you cannot wash and dry at the same time. We do this a lot as it speeds things up.

Secondly integrated units tend to be poorer at drying than a dedicated dryer, as the drum size tends to be smaller than you'd commonly find in a dweicated unit.

If you have the space, always go separate.

i'm missing something there then :s

1) Lift metal bars off

2) wipe with damp cloth and some dettol

3) put metal bars back on

4) done.

I think he means integrated into the units mate, as to hide them :p

Still EVH, Why no proper 17th edition consumer unit?

I get the impression that he means integrated into the units, with matching door fronts covering them :)

EVH - Fantastic job getting this far, what a journey, i am a big fan of that fridge too. Good job changing the rack supply to commando too.

My only thoughts/critisism's are re the appliances and fittings in that i do agree that higher end integrated appliances may have looked smarter, as would a porcelain kitchen sink rather than a stainless.

As i say though, very good job indeed fella. :)

Pics.

Professional tap in, just need a blanking cap for the front of the sink.

Excuse the mess. All the crap is in the kitchen so the rooms that need to be carpeted are free.

Hmm wont you have an issue opening those doors on the corner cupboard there. Unless that is a 900 L Shaped corner unit the handles will knock into eachother and you wont be able to open the doors fully...

Looks very nice however!

We've got those handles, and possibly the same cupboard doors in our Kitchen. The corner unit works very well, just remember to pull out the right hand cupboard first; in our house, anyway.

Its a utility room? Doesn't matter what it looks like in there tbh, it's behind a door and not seen  Money saved there is better spent in the rest of the build.
