I'll tune in next time then. I just finished Chapter 5 last night, will do Chapter 6/7 tonight. See how nightmare compares to p--- easy mode.
Ha are you playing on easy? As I mentioned above I’m not too sold on this hard difficulty mode. It’s just feels like ‘die until you find out the way of making it through’. I like to be able to make it through on my feet. Not just die and then figure out not to trigger the ‘booby trap’ per se.I'll tune in next time then. I guess I’m not doing tooo bad. Very low ammo though. Think I have about one bullet left at the mo
Yeah, I always do first playthrough on easiest difficulty with any game. I have little patience for repetition these days. When I replay this on PC at some point in the future, I'll up the difficulty then.
same here, not that I couldn’t grind at higher difficulties, I just have little to no patience!

Is that the theatre level? I've got about 10 bullets for the pistol but 300+ gunpowder so can easily make 150 more.

I'm curious - do you have the buzzsaw lady running after you too? She's on my ass all the time and I can't outrun her! Well... I have a couple of times.

I fought her in front of City Hall (Chapter 5). I guess on nightmare she might be too tough to kill and you can run in the back door to escape her and start the Stable Field Emitter? She might disappear from that level and re-appear elsewhere? I don't know but I actually killed her with my shotgun.
Not a spoiler for you but I'll follow suit:
She's in the level with the Theatre on Nighmare, unkillable (I think) and roaming all over the place

On chapter 9 now and didn’t want to stop for bed. Chapter 8 was mad on easy so nightmare is going to be madder! Luckily I have a new super power for slowing time down which is well worth the points. Easy becomes a cakewalk.

I think I'm in the last throes now, chapter 14. This power that you can use to slow down time is sooo worth the green goo points. I know on my next playthrough at a harder difficulty, I won't be spending on anything until I've got that skill. It's a shame they restrict you to the current or lower difficulty on new game+. I was hoping I would be able to go straight to nightmare having a load of stuff already unlocked but you have to finish on nightmare already to do that. Bummer.
I think it overheated my PS4 last night. Game crashed back to the home screen with the fans going mad.
