BBC and copyright an odd problem.

BBC owns the copyright to Top Gear

The BBC was created by a royal charter sanctioned by the British government

The British government is the authoritative body elected by the citizens of the United Kingdom

We own the BBC and hence own the copyright to Top Gear, post any links you want to material that you own the copyright too.

And they only have clips of some features like the race of the DB9. IIRC dont remember seeing the Evo vs Lambo on there.

You don't need to pay your TV licence to be a citizen of the UK, the TV licence does NOT pay for the BBC, the TV licence is a tax raised by the government, the BBC is funded through money they receive from the government, if the TV licence was scrapped today the BBC would still be there funded by tax revenue.

You really didn't quite understand by little spiel about copyright owners my whole point is that we are the copyright holders for anything paid for by the BBC hence we can do what we like with it, of course this is all conjecture and has not been validated by any court case but so far as I know no one has been sued for linking to BBC material.

TBH, much better watching the replays on UKTV People/Gold/etc.

Evos = Mitsubishi Lancer that's driven through Halfords whilst covered in glue. And then tuned. A lot.

Having seen and heard Murcielagos in real life, there is no way in HELL I could choose a trumped-up pram like an Evo/Scoob over the Italian Bull... they sounds like Satan the morning after a night out, look oh-so-pretty and go like stink. Yers, the Evo may be faster cross-country, but I don't care. The Lambo will be built better, pull more, attract more (of the right sort of) attention (not 15-30yr old male Evo-readers) and just look better.

No apology here.
