i got an Evolv Series X2 with the plans on going back to custom water in the photos on the OCUK site a assume provided by phanteks you can see the rad tubes exit at the front of the case.
i cant work out how the hell they did this. i dont see any way to mount the fans that would leave the front open for rad fittings.

dose any one have a custom loop in a Evolv Series X2 that can help please.

Do you mean this pic? At the front, top?

If so, they’re going into a radiator mounted at the top of the case.

What is stopping the radiator having the tubes at the front of the case?

I watched a couple of videos showing a AIO not being able because of a fill port, but a normal radiator should not have this problem.

Can you show some pics of why it will not fit?

i would have to cut the front 20mm of the bracket for the fittings to be assessable, with phanteks showing it this way round i just thought i was been stupid(as normal) and there was a way to do it.

in the video you linked jay shows that you cant mount it with the tubes to the front.
Sorry, that is why i linked the video. Should have been more clear.

I would have thought as long as there is no fill port and only the tubes, you should be able to mount the radiator in either direction.

Just found this video showing tubes at the front can be done.

thats actually a very helpful video, when i looked i couldn't find one custom loop build video.
he's also very brave have the pump hanging on a tube like that

it also shows that my bracket is not as wide at the front... i assume V1 for of the case.. ill just cut my bracket, that's what i was trying to avoid

It's a tough call.

Personally i would not like to cut the bracket, but given the extra cost to buy a new radiator i probably would consider it.

if i just cut 20mm of the end it would never be seen, but like you say not really a fan of having to cut it.
that said i will have to cut a hole fan grill in the bottom to mount the pump
