Examples of control?

Hi all,

Im doing an essay on control in the modern organisation, and was wondering if anyone can remember any example of the top of their head about where control went good/bad. ie, company shared some control to the employee, and emloyee made something good/bad out of it?

Please do your own homework or listen to the lecturer, or read books, or use the internet.

My company is not controlling me as I've spent most of the day on this forum

and not reading project documentation ! and wrting BRD and PDDs.
And dealing with IT morons.
