Exercise for a bad lower back

Pretty sure the placebo effect won't apply to one 'thinking' that the chiropractic treatment is working....therfore it will.

Actually, the placebo effect can be that dramatic, especially when you're looking at long term pain. The placebo effect can result in physiological effects within the body. It's really quite fascinating.

It's certainly always worth asking your GP about therapies like Physios, Osteos and Chiros.

I'd like to separate physiotherapists from that bunch, who are actually qualified (and licensed) medical practitioners.
 
A lot more people here suggesting GP - Physio route over Chiro.

In the few Months It takes to be seen, should I rest up (I'm not fat ^^) or do some gentle exercise?
 
GP is the safe and obvious route. I'm not suggesting go elsewhere, but i owuld imagine the main reason people DO go elsewher is due to ridiculous waiting times, whilst they still suffer.
