I must be one of the lucky ones. I bought mine over 18 months ago when I was working for one of the distributors, and haven't had a problem with it.

that said, it'll probably pop when I switch the PC on tonight!

Are Hiper related to Q-Tec by any chance? They were dodgy as **** as well, had a 500W one explode on me.

Is my Hiper the only one that's lasted? I bought my rig in sep 2005 and my hiper is still going strong!

, the PSU's are fine more are actively fine than have failed, there just very good selling PSU's so obviously the failure rate is noticed more. There was a survey a while back and it showed Hiper to be one of the most reliable believe it or not.
