The amount they have makes no difference, do you not understand how averages work?

The average black male is shorter than the average white, therefor they are, if anything decreasing the overall average in the US.

You're still wrong. The average tall black male is vastly taller than the average tall white male which helps boost it back up.

I think you need to re-read my post... as has been pointed out Black americans only serve to decrease the average as do Hispanic americans.

No you're wrong, they aren't in the US - they're shorter on average - they've essentially lowered the average.

Cant say I have ever found being 5'6" an issue. I am the odd one out as my brothers over 6ft and my dads taller as well. And as for a lot of those comments on twitter I did drink plenty milk it didn't help :p

Average male height has been 5' 10" for as long as I can remember.
 
Yup, this is quite popular. I'm 5'9 ish, and have been told by people before that anyone on online dating beneath 5'10 they'll just ignore. It seems quite popular.

More interesting is that the % of directors over 6ft is much higher than the average number of people over 6ft. Suggesting some height discrimination in the labour force as well.

Same, I'm 5'11'' and I considered myself as pretty tall in my teenage years I was taller then just about everyone I knew, 20 years later I feel very average and loads of guys I know are taller then me :(

The woman thing is old news, basic rule of thumb is that if she's taller than you, she won't be interested unless you're seriously loaded (and flash it about a bit)
 
I guess I'm the shortest in here at 5 foot 7. It's never really bothered me too much to be honest. Women almost universally want a "tall" man - it's quite often the first quality they look for which incredibly shallow, i guess.

My wife has always said small guys aren't attractive even if they are good looking and "Nice"

It's all about evolution, If your short, best bet is to buy yourself a reproduction Rack, twice a day for 10 years should sort you out and get you into the Mans club..:)
