I haven't had much height discrimination at all (not even really jokes, which is good because I do tend to get upset if people call it out in a degrading way - I can't help my genetics!).
What I've found from looking at this kind of stuff is that it is the smaller women who tend to have the stupid '6ft rule'. Probably to make up for their own lack of height? Dunno. Anyway, it seems the taller women are the ones who are less likely to care about dating the shorter men (but probably because they tower over most anyway). I've known a few really tall women all around 6ft and none of them gave a crap about how tall a guy was.
I don't mind dating the 6ft girls either, why should I let it bother me? Plus they got dem legs. (but then again I'm not some testosterone fuelled alpha man - being a beta can be fun!)
For the record, I'm 5ft 5/6
Anything over 6'2" is just pointlessly tall
Serious question though; have you ever been comfortable in any sort of public transport? I have ridiculously short legs, yet even I find train seats cramped.

It's fussy eaters than turn out short.
(I like eyes and a nice smile...though I prefer them when they're in a face)

This seems to be a thing at the moment. When half a dozen idiots get together and talk rubbish the rest of society feels the need to make sure that everyone knows that they are talking rubbish. A few hundred out of millions of people on twitter post about how thick and poorly educated they are and there is outrage.
but it seems to be that the majority of the female population want nothing to do with short men.
I'm the fussiest eater out there, a literal salad dodger. I'm 6'4". It's just genetics.
I guess it depends how you define short.Only, its not a few people. OK so a few girls on twitter have taken to openly declaring all short men non existent, but it seems to be that the majority of the female population want nothing to do with short men.
Not that this is surprising, social prejudice is extremely prevalent on a number of factors, such as height, weight, looks, good/bad hair or even accent.

Pretty girls with Scottish accents make my special place tingle. Not sure if that counts as prejudice though?

I'm 6'2 so I suppose I'm in the 'safe zone'. However, was out with a big group of people today for lunch and the topic came up. No girl there said that they'll date a short guy. No matter how rich, good looking or successful he is. I've also seen this mentioned a million times on dating sites I've been on. 99.9% of girls expressively wants a guy taller than them. Unfortunately this seems to be the reality. I know some on OCUK is over the top on political correctness and social awareness. I wonder what sound bites they have on this little reality![]()
