External ethernet cable run

I used a pre-existing hole from an old phone line and just sealed it with silicone, used external grade cat5e with cable clips to tack it down to start with and then just zip tied the cable to existing sky cable runs.

6 runs seems a lot, could you not achieve what you want with a switch either end or will the cables be going various places?

Drilled hole through wall, push a plastic tube through to make it easier to put cable through and give it a bit of protection and used silicon sealant to seal outside hole. Clipped cable round to other hole and did same. Just used normal Cat5e been there over a 5 years no probs

How could using fibre do anything except make the job more complex and expensive?

Save hacking big holes and running bundles of cables outside the house. 6 cables, or a conduit will look awful imo.
