I have a Seagate Freeagent 500GB.
Do I have to use their software to back my files up? Is it wrong to use plain old copy/paste? Things are getting so 'user-friendly' these days it has me confused, I thought I could do a giant copy and paste of all my data onto an empty drive but when I look at the drive there already appears to be 250MB of data on it (the backup program and such) and I assume if it is there I have to use it
