Eye Floaters

in the last year or so...my eyes are more bloodshot and have about ohh 6 or 7 nerve strand "floaters" things in EACH eye.
My brain doesnt get used to them...i see them all the time anytime i look at anything which is kinda bright like a computer screen and ohh THE SKY!
Yep pretty annoying.... more so because every so often (maybe once every 6 months) i would wake up with very painful eyes because GUNK or some other foreign object has fallen in my eye and i cant open them....till i have poured a ton of cold water on them whilst praying to whatever god there is...enuff already i cut down on the porn dude!!!
no idea why suddenly i have loads of floaters though....optician has checked em recently and just said i should take artifical tears coz eyes are dry....TBH i just think he doesnt ****** know...so makes something up...to "reasure" me.... sigh..
