*** F.A Cup 4th Round Spoilers ***

Cracking cup tie between Everton and Chelsea. Everton got things spot on in the 1st half and deserved their lead at HT.

Chelsea were much the better team in the 2nd half. Martyn made some crucial saves. Everton struggled after McFadden went off after getting an elbow in the nose from Cudicini.

I was very impressed with Kilbane on the left for Everton. I never actually realised how quick he is. Arteta and Glen Johnson had a good battle throughout the game.

All in all a cracking match and probably just the correct result in the end.

Good result for us against Chelsea I suppose, I had a feeling we might get somehting out of it. It seems like we're turning into a bit of a bogey team for them. Hopefully we'll have Beattie and Cahill back for the replay aswell.

Our line up looks very, very weak and I really can't see us getting anything from this match now, I wonder what Arsene is thinking??

To be fair, unlike the BBC only Bergkamp and Pires are rested, the others are actually injured.

The BBC coverage is poor, the camera work is awful, the editing isn't much better. The commentary is poor too, we have had Kevin Campbell playing, and Reyes on his own up front?!

Diaby looks good, seems comfortable on the ball.

That Reyes miss was almost as bad as Cisse's.

Watch the slow motion, and see the bobble, and it's nowhere near the Cisse miss, which was one on one, Reyes had 3 players infront of him

I hate Le Saux as a commentator, he always states the obvious and tries to turn it into knowledge.

He's so dull as well. Goes with the game I guess. Roll on second half....

It was further off target and the reason the bobble affected the effort so much is that he tried to sidefoot it. If he'd gone for power (for the three guys in front of him) he'd have fared better. He also had time to set himself, unlike Cisse.

Wrightys comments about him:

"He keeps getting compared to Patrick Vieira, which is a bit unfair, as the only thing they have in common is they've both got brothers and are quite tall"
