*** F.A Cup 4th Round Spoilers ***

Good game down the Wolves today

They had no balls at all though the entire game, very dissapointing to see

Im well impressed with Vidic, looked very solid. Rio also played well in MF first half
he mopped everything up that Wolves were knocking on from midfield and i thought
he did well to break up play when needed

Would like to see Vidic up against some decent strikers but he did very well today
bit dozy when he got his card but hey

Kicked off as well before the game and after

All round good game the G|mpess aint very happy though :D

What a terrible game that was.Very lucky to get the pen and the win,and looked a complete shambles most of the time  .Not very impressed with Pompeys fouling in the 1st half - probably cost them the match tho,cos if they'd just stuck to playing football like they did in the 2nd half they could have got a result.
One positive was Kromkamp -Rafa getting him as a swap for Josemi looks a steal,as he seems a much better player -embarrasing dive aside :)
Don't know why Rafa is persisting with Warnock tho,he makes Traore look reliable  and Robbie must be pretty content too;he's fat and unfit and has dodgy knees -but could still show Cisse and Morientes a thing or two on that showing

Very good game for us, attacking well down both flanks. Park should remain in the first team, he knows when to make a run, and more importantly knows when to pass or cross the ball, a real team player.

Ronaldo as far as I know is still in Portugal, if not, he's just back. Ferguson gave him a few weeks off to go rest so I wouldn't read into anything about him not being on the bench.

Rio did ok in midfield, not much was needed really against Wolves and a 38yr old Paul Ince. :D Vidic looked good as well, still getting some form of match fitness but looked solid at the back. Silvestre was his usual 'thump the ball anywhere but here' self. Evra was good but cannot cross, much more of defensive minded left side midfielder than an attacking one.

Saha is not a good partner to RVN upfront IMO. And at times appears to be on a different wavelength especially when Richardson had the ball and started some attacks.

All in all a good game, but surely Ferguson cannot expect to keep this up for the remainder of the season?

G|mp i dont think he was dozy for his card if you see any reply he knew the wolves player was through on goal if he got passed, definately seemed intentional to block his path

Exactly. He should have been sent off according to the letter of the law.

Pleased with Cheltenham's performance on Saturday they really rattled Newcastle at times. Odejayi should be shot for the miss near the end though, goes on a great run then spoons it wide :(

Still £150,000 in the bank and hopefully should be in the playoffs this season :)

Disappointed with the Arsenal result though, should have put at least one of the chances we had away.

Just wanna say I thought the linesmen in the pompey-liverpool game were very good, pretty much every decision was correct in my eyes.

As for Arsenal it's a bit much when arguably our 6 first choice leftbacks are all unavailable :)

I still reckon we need to buy a centrehalf. Ponderos can't cope against top players yet and Campbell is getting a bit injury prone in his old age.

Does anyone know why Quincy wasn't in the squad at the weekend? We were missing Toure/Eboue/Abadayor/Henry/Lauren/Fabregas/Gilberto/Cole/Clichy/Cygan/Walcott, and with Bergkamp/Pires/Lehmann being rested I would have thought there would have been room for him on the bench :(

I think Senderos is a good prospect, but he needs to play on the left of the 2 CB. He doesn't play well with Sol, but plays well with Toure.

No idea on the Quincy front, he was suffering with an injury, and was meant to be out for 6 weeks, but played again after 2. I expect he will be loaned out next season.
