F.E.A.R: Extraction Point Expansion Pack

I've finished the game i dont think i shall be buying the expansion any time soon might wait till its £5 or something. Too many better games coming out.

I think I'll wait a couple of weeks until I get a new graphics card though. I played through on my 7800GTX and although it was certainly playable, there were plenty of slowdown areas. I'm hoping to pick up an 8800 on Nov 8th, so hopefully this should have a bit more luck with it!

I think they upgraded the engine or done something because this game runs extremely well on my old X850xt and P4 3.2Ghz with a gig of Ram.

What games are they, FPS or other genres? I'll probably pick this up, I enjoyed the atmosphere of the first so hopefully this will continue with the expansion...
 
Well bearing in mind the DoW expansion pack Dark Crusade is out on the same day I think I'll be getting that instead

ordered mine from game yesterday- dont mind that they have an extra 60p on p&p compared to gameplay, as i get double reward points now :D

Bah it says "Today" under despatch and has done all day for Gameplay, but I'm guessing its not going to be despatched now

I'm gutted if not

EDIT:

Ok maybe not do bad after that first bit. Interested to hear if anyone on a conroe has the same prob. Is it a bit of cpu limitation or just poor coding. It's not like the scene is anything special

Not me, fear was awful, it was just the same level over and over again, even doom 3 was better than that and at least it had decent performance.
