Looks great - has been too long since we had a good F1 racing game. Can't wait! Glad it doesnt look TOO arcade like.
Geoff Crammonds is still the best F1 game I ever played, one of the very few F1 games I ever played which had realistic damage and the ability to drive full length races through a season. Used to love sitting down for a few hours to do a 60+ lap race and have to take into account my pitstops, other teams pitstops and changing weather/track conditions.
Would like this to be good, but I suspect its still going to be too arcadey for my liking. Come on Geoff, come back out of retirement !
you speak sense! the time wasted on gp2! keep thinking of installing a virtual machines as gp4 wont work in win7. Still play gpl a lot, nothing has passed this for me.
i do hope they dont use an absurd menu system like the dirt 2, really annoying.
i doubt it will be the game most of us sim players want though, no modding apprantly, which is pretty important in a sim game, as they only come aloung once in a while.
Most players dont want that level of accuracy or control though, the more casual car game market is far bigger than the sim market.
I want a f1 game i can play a 10% length race in, with pit stops, and for the race to be realistic and reflect a 60 lap race over 6 laps.
I was delighted when it was codemasters that got the licence, there really hasnt been a fun F1 game since the first one on the playstation.
