F1 2011 world champion?

Until we see the cars in winter testing this is an entirely impossible question to answer. Many would have thought Hamilton would have been up there for the title when Button won it but the car was a dog. Theoretically RB, Ferrari and McLaren should have fast cars next year but with the removal of the DDD, the new rear wing rules and the return of KERS its all up in the air.

I have no idea as to who will win but if i had a choice it would be Hamilton by a country mile.

If the McLaren is a contender, you'd be hard pushed to bet against Hamilton. That being said, I'm going to wait until the 2011 cars start appearing and testing before making any rash predictions! Wouldn't want to give sunama any ammunition :D

If Ferrari are as close to Red Bull as they were the last half a dozen races it will be between Vettel and Alonso.

It's all down to the car though so it's difficult to predict at this stage, it doesn't matter who the best driver is F1 is about who has the best car and has been for decades.

Well alonso and Hamilton didn't have the best cars Hamilton would have won if it wasn't for those 2 non finishes at the end of the season for me I think it would be stupid to bet against alonso and hamilton they are both great drivers.

Whilst obviously hard to judge without even a sniff of the cars, I'd have thought Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso will be in the hunt again. It's hard to envisage those three teams making a bad car.

I also think, Rosberg could do well next year if the Mercedes car improves to the level of the current big three. They should have the funding to do it, they have the experience in Schumacher and Brawn to develop a good car and then Rosberg himself is young, full of fight and and pretty talented. He just needs to hope Mercedes put a good car under him. Schumacher could do well too if the car ends up more suited to his style than this year. Another fairly big rule change could be just the ticket for Brawn now he has some money behind him again, this years car was largely developed last year wasn't it, when Brawn GP were running a bit low before Merc jumped in?

Pending testing, I think MS might be up there, I really do. Especially if merc kers system is top of the class as expected, and I think despite rosberg clearly having the pace on schumi this season, if we had a red bull style dominance michael would be blessed with no 1 status right away and he would roar off into the lead, if the car is fast enough. That is to say, rosberg wouldnt be ''allowed'' to take points of him like webber did with vettel.

i just hope the cars are on a more level playing field this next season. it was getting tedious in quali, just wasnt exciting because you new exactly what was going to happen.

RB will be at the winter testing this year for a change.
They know they have a fast car from 2010 so just need to improve on the reliability. Something they missed out on by not taking part in winter testing last year.

I do hope Mclaren have a better car next year.
If, somehow, it was possible for McLaren to properly participate in a title fight along with Red Bull and Ferrari but for Renault and Mercedes to also join the race, we could potentially see a better 2011 than 2010. :p It was so nice to see several drivers from different teams still able to win the title in the last race.
