F1 2012 Test dates

According to last years info as this years hasnt been decided yet.

There was only 4 or 5 stands available one on the main straight 2 on eurocar corner and one near the north of the track.

Last year it said it was only 10 euros to get in.

I have emailed them and they have said that more prices and times will be available at the end of Jan start of Feb.

If you are in to photography be careful if you use a mono pod as I wasn't allowed to take mine into Valencia last year

Easy jet have got a sale on from Luton at the min for about the same money bargain way really to see f1 cars.
 
I go to the Jerez test every year with a few mates as i have a place in marbella.

Its 10 euros to get in on the gate, we always take a cool box full of booze and make a day of it

Flights are epicly cheap and the weather is normally really good (20c or so)
 
Does anyone know if the test will be on the new sky channel?

I thought I read that MB said it might be but not live, highlights maybe though!
 
I don't think there will be. SSN will have two reporters at every test, so I'd imagine there will be regular updates.

I don't think there's such a thing as highlights of a test session. Other than the odd spin here and there they're pretty dull. The only good parts is you get to see the new cars in action and then get to argue over how relevent the test times actually are :)
 
Yeah, photos and some technical analysis from decent people is more beneficial from testing than footage of cars going round. ScarbsF1 is where I will be spending my time.
 
I didnt mean "highlights" as such, almost like practice sessions. With talking about the new cars, rules, regs and the season to come, with some sexy new cars on track as a bonus.
 
So it kicks of Tuesday, what's best way of following this. I assume like normal no live video feed. Shutter so cheap and just let companies stream it online.
Anyone doing a live chat seseion online anywhere?

Autosport do a live chat within the live ticker feed iirc.
 
williams will hopefully have live timing again, did mercedes do it as well last year?

then pictures will be on most F1 sites, and technical analysis from places like scarbs
 
Any other ocuk members going the Barca test? Managed to drag two friends to come with me. Just going to catch the train from city centre.' I'm sure it will be good for €20

Enjoy, not bad for €20. How much did the flights & hotel etc cost?
 
Yes IIRC all teams will be at the next two tests, however not all with 2012 cars until the second one.
