F1 2013 Calendar & TV Coverage

Just seen this posted by MissChief

New customer offer (either brand new or away from Sky for 12 months minimum)

Free Sky+HD box
Free standard set-up
Half price HD Pack (save £61.50)
Half price TV for a year (save up to £333)

There's also an offer for existing TV customers for Sky Broadband:

9 Months Free Sky Broadband Unlimited - £7.50 Thereafter
(+ Line Rental from Month 1 at £14.50) 12 month contract minimum.

That's it I'm afraid, nothing on Multiroom or any other upgrade offers.

Email me IN TRUST (that means click the 'Trust' button at the bottom right, not click on my name and use the address listed in my profile.)

Must have been a member for at least 30 days (or at my own discretion if less than 30 days).

I need your FULL NAME and your own email address if it's different from the trust address.

As before, first come first serve on all codes.

If you're considering it for the F1, then GET A MOVE ON as there's a change in subs required for new subscribers wanting the F1 channel coming which I CANNOT talk about at this time.

Going to have to pay for the F1 channel if you haven't already got it.

The wording of MissChiefs post sounds to me like the SSF1HD channel will be removed from the HD pack and added to the Sky Sports pack.

I think the HD pack is £10.25 and its an extra £5 for Sky sports F1 HD now, for new people taking it up. Their page is never very clear about exact amounts for things.

The SSF1HD channel is not £5 extra, it is an offer of the HD pack which includes SSF1HD for £5 a month for 6 months, then the standard £10.25 after that. For the moment things are the same, you can get SSF1HD with the HD pack, or SSF1 (SD) with the Sky Sports pack. However, MissChief is hinting that this may change, and not for the better.

Yeah thats how I see it going. Double blow for HD though as the standard Sky Sports pack is only SD. You need the HD pack on top to get the HD Sports channels. That would make getting SSF1HD £31.25 on top of a standard £20 TV package.

Bad move, tbh. I don't know about others, but I certainly wouldn't have bought the Sports pack to get the F1 channel.

Then again, I'm not surprised really, it was always going to end up going this way.

I'll be able to give a bit more info tomorrow.

From what I've read so far there will be a new 'Entertainment Extra+' package which is £5.25 per month that gives access to all the Entertainment channels that have HD options as well as Entertainment content on the 3D channel but DOESN'T give access to the F1 channel.

Before anyone asks I'm not sure if you will still be able to pay £10.25 per month and get the F1 channel as well without shelling out for Sky Sports as well.

If you want to add more layers to the bullcrap of Sky: it was said the BBC would still get the key races like Silverstone and Monaco, but this year they've taken away Monaco.
