McLaren are the first certified Carbon Neutral F1 team.
Hamilton and Button on top in the wet, whodda thought?
I don't think we learnt much of anything today.
So Mercedes are doing well and Red Bull aren't. Something not right here.![]()
them quick laps were set in the dry.
And the 16 days (was there really that many?) of 2011 testing:
1. Jenson Button (McLaren)
2. Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull)
3. Fernando Alonso (Ferrari)
I thought the track was damp from the off?![]()
andrew benson is suddenly good source of information? you might want to check some of his past articles because he talks out of his anus a lot
I don't know why people are even bothering to predict. Some teams will have completely new packages coming before Melbourne, tricks that they don't want other teams to see.

Last year they did 16 days but Mugello was during the season, which I expect they'll do again this year.
It seems that the majority of people feel that McLaren will start the season with the fastest car.
Fastest cars from the 12 days of testing before last season:
Red Bull, Force India, Williams, Sauber, Lotus, Lotus, Sauber, Lotus, Lotus, Mercedes, Mercedes, Ferrari
And the 16 days (was there really that many?) of 2011 testing:
Red Bull, Ferrari, Renault, Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, Williams, Red Bull, Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, Red Bull, Sauber, Mercedes, Mercedes
So even in the year they dominated all they didn't top the time sheets at every test. Last year the fastest car accross the season (McLaren) didn't top a single test. The fact there are a lot of Mercedes and Lotus/Renault and Sauber in there tell you a lot too.
RBR are not topping the time sheets because they don't want to.
