Assetto Corsa with a gamepad is possible - but wow it is hard. I crammed my wheel on my desk, it went on there even if it mean removing my keyboard , thankfully it all fits nicely.

Wheel is a must now l think with the latest driving games Dirt, AC, F12016 if you want to get the best out of them.

Lucky I reserved the G920 last night, prices all went back up this morning. Just need to collect it by the end of today.

So the game has been out a week, this is the first one Ive not pre ordered as in F1 2015 I had a issue that made the game unplayable that no matter what control method I used the game would think I'm giving full revs and full break so i could never get off the line!
So in short how are the bugs guys, playable or worth waiting a patch or two.

I thought they were the same but g29 is PS4 and g920 is Xbox One

That is indeed correct (placement of PSN,XB buttons) but interestingly the G920 DOES NOT have the LED rev indicators while the G29 does!

Yep, basically that. Also, they only had the G920! I assume I have until they close to pick it up to secure that price. That is if I can leave the house at some point today when the workmen have finished!

I did a great lap at Spa last night, after I stopped my PC from hard crashing (bloody GPU drivers lol)
It was so nearly into the 1:48's - I was so pleased with it, I posted my lap on my steam profile lol
I don't think I'm slowing down, I just think you lot are going quicker lol my excuse.
As for the G29 and G290 - both the same, apart from one has an xbox button, the other has a PS button and the G29 rev lights don't work for F1 2016 anyhow.
Pedals are very good on G29/G290. Much improved even over a G27 from all accounts.

There's plenty faster than me as long as your enjoying yourself thats the main thing.
Well done with a 1.48 great going.
I clamped mine to the desk, its sturdy enough for me... And the pedals are a lot better then the older DFGT I had. Brake is much better, it feels more natural.
And you also get a clutch with the G29 /G290 and the option for a h shifter.

It is, but it means you can press it harder if you really need to stop, but can also lock up the wheels , just like a real car...
Harder you press, quicker you might go into a skid unless you have ABS on. It is a much better set of pedals then the DFGT.
It took me a little while to adjust, but the springs in the G29 are better IMO. It feels better.

Cavallino just sent a friend request on steam. Not been on for a few days now the drink got a hold of me, but il be back on again tonite for some spa.
