F1 fans getting bored?

It's been a good season but not being able to view all the races live does take away some of the excitement I've been missing races and just looking results up online which is something I've never done in the last 10 years of following F1

It doesn't seem too unpredictable, the big names are still taking in a lot of points.
The Williams car has looked to have pace the last 2 races in the hands of Maldonaldo (before he ****** his race weekend up in Monaco).

I am surprised Lotus hasn't won a race yet though.
Schumacher has been unlucky and Jenson just hasn't found the right balance in the last few races... (lol)

Dont agree that "its just closer racing" , if that was the case it would be relatively predictable going from practice times to quali (on same fuel levels) but this is NOT the case on several of the last race weekends

(admittedly a few earlier in the season where affected throughout the weekend with changable weather, but last two the weather has largely been similar throughout the weekend)

If a car is fast on one type of tyre /one fuel level on Sat morning, there is no reason at all why the same car (baring a big accident inbetween) shouldnt be as fast on the same fuel level two hours later - however this year THIS IS unpredictable, and therefore a lottery imo

Your making the assumption that everyone does qualifying Sims on Saturday, and diesnt change their cars before qualifying.

Which is a fair assumption to make, changes will be made probably but nothing dramatic really, main difference will probably be track temps from morning to afternoon.

the tyre master cant get to grips with the pirreli yet surely they suit his smooth driving style?

if jenson cant get heat into the tyre then surely they need changing

I dont think its boring, its just different, im still not sure if i like the way its going, but it needs a bit more time before any rash decisions are made

Best season in years, so far. Monaco was a total snore fest, but that's the case half the time. The biggest strike against this season is the lack of proper free-to-air coverage. That, more than anything else, stands a chance of driving me away from the sport.

You would fuly expect him to have issues with these tyres.
Easy on tyres, means lack of heat generation, with tyres that need heating up.

Which is exactly why he's been running the same brake pads as Lewis for the last 2 races. Judging by his amount of lockups, he hasn't got used to them yet.

Maybe he should have gone testing and used them there....
