F1 Manager 22

Because you played it for SIXTY HOURS and HAD FUN so, in other words, it completely succeeded at being a game. Christ on a frickin' bike.
yea and if they sold it as early access....... yea lets reward devs for chucking unfinished games at people that will never get finished because they need to work on the annual release schedule.

The sooner every dev does this the better

When you forget to change out your for practice session Engine/Gearbox/DRS and hit race
Literally started with 6% gearbox and samy isn't breaking the car because the game doesn't seem to have mechanical failures it seems..
Even set his fastest lap on a 2% gear box, I told him to push at the end hoping it would hit 0% and keep on going but ran out of laps.

Broken mechanics, placeholder mechanics does it even matter? just send it as a "Finished game" not one in early access

His fastest lap was only 3 seconds off the fastest lap even of the race even and I;m literally fighting for 12-15th place or worse in races normally.

that's how little a scrap quality engine, drs and gear box effect the cars performance it seems.

BTW did I mention they changed the EULA yesterday and made everyone accept it again?
what they added was people aren't allowed to use cheatengine on the game to look at the database, people aren't allowed to discuss the database info and people aren't allowed to try and mod the game

someone changed the Tyres, DRS and dirty air without the need to use a cheat engine according to reddit

IDK if it works on save games but you would probably want to use it on a new game anyway to see if it breaks the AI or not.

no one knows if the AI strats are premade by the devs or actually made up based on actual numbers

This was my car at the end of the second season.

and how many points and wins I got with that turd (only 1-6 score points btw in my 2nd season)

In the first race of S3 I got a 1-2 although Ferrari were super close to catching me at the end and I think I'm meant to have the 13th fastest car by performance stats.

It's probably possible to win a WDC in the 3rd season as Williams, that's how bad the AI is.

I probably won't do anymore races until they patch the game and fix all the broken if they ever do.

The AI just does the same crap every race with the same strats, never pushing the car etc so they might as well be rolling roadblocks each with their own pace to represent some kind of challenge depending on the team you pick.

They don't react to anything they just run a boring pre programmed strat

They claimed a patch would be out by the end of the week and nothing so far...
Good progress is being made on multiple in-game improvements based on your reports, for Update 1.7. We are currently implementing and testing changes relating to:

- Tyre performance
- Behaviour of cars moving aside when required
- Fuel delta feedback
- UI placement on widescreen monitors
- Balancing of car part design focus

These tests and checks take time to be done correctly, before moving onto the process of submitting and deploying the game update. If we remain on schedule, we intend to deliver Update 1.7 for F1 Manager 2022 by the end of the week commencing September 19.

What a crap company... Launch a buggy mess and then 0 patches in 25days.... they always claimed the version they showed on twitch live was out of date by a month what a crock of horse poop

To be fair they updated the Reddit sub at the tail end of the week to say it would be released on PC and Console this week, I imagine they lost a day (like everyone else) with a Monday Holiday. Also didn't Patch 1.6 get released after launch? Thats 2 patches since launch.
did u even read the patch notes? and I don't see anything new on the reddit

it's a crap company who never keeps anyone updated they cared more about trying to make modding illegal.

how hard is it to hot patch the safety car over taking mess? ultra-wide res being a zoomed in mess with monster size UI? there must be numerous broken things they could fix with a single line of code that wouldn't need testing

They said they can't fix cars being unable to lap themselves, DRS trains breaking the game unfixable. moving onto next years game LOL

I'm guessing no one who bought 22 is going to buy 23 and there won't be a 24

I see they are activating Damage Control now they realised their fanbase turned on them

Haha this the same rubbish they said for Planet Coaster when we all said it had zero management and they claimed they will have the deepest management and simulation ever which was complete crock and since then FD are just on list to avoid tbh.
yea the computer teams AI in this game is non existent they just run a randomly select a predefined strat each race

This is on 80% off sale on Steam right now if there's anyone else who (like me) has been holding off until a big price drop. It's €10.99 here, so I guess a tenner in the UK?
Since the game came out the developers stock is also discounted by roughly the same percent.. which might tell you something.
for a teener it's probably okay though but after 1-2 seasons you will likely wonder what's the point.
