They are stuck at that level, those stats down the bottom that are represented by little squares are important when choosing a driver to hire as they do not change.
Thanks, hopfully she'll make it in the race, she has more talent, better starts and excellent on tyres.
Old driver is still in the race because he was moved to 3rd driver not sacked (which would have cost 3mil!). So he'll just race tomorrow night instead.
More questions, on manager progresion. Traits goes up 1 every level. Does that mena you get 1 extra trait every level, or that many extra traits.
If that makes any sense.

congrats to dampcat on a first and third in the first league race 
was tempted to go for a one stop as yer pit calculator said however as it didnt factor in tyre degradation i went for a 2, got stuck in traffic and paid the price !
although i will be contacting FIA over the fact your driver alain robert did not qualify for the race
as an aside, is anyone else developing there own chassis etc ? its taking me ages to get a one that is better than the ones you can buy as it were, im estimating another season after this one before my own will come close to the ones i can buy and use ?

tbh acid i had two drivers in my second season at 60k each. Im not sure who you have but i had ruh poulsen and someone else, what i found was that spending money on headquarters etc got better results than better drivers.

and also dampcat was a full second behind me in he last practive and qualifying yet he still got 11st and third due to his pit stop strategy, so dont lose the faith man !

I got 1st and 3rd because i'm AWESOME!
No but really, my 2nd driver started in 20th because he never qualified, and my main driver started 6th, and still pulled it back to get 1st and 3rd. Really surprised.
I have no real advice i'm afraid. I use the most expensive everything. Chassis, tyres, engines, drivers are all over 300k each. I spent a season with no money but now my sponsors are signing for 1mil+ each so i can finish upgrading the facilities. (4 star atm).
My advice is check for drivers every day. It doesnt matter if you dont win a season or every race (i was ready to write off this season because i've actually got competition this time!). If you really get bummed, you can start over, but seems like a lot of work just cause a guy is a second faster.

I've not bothered to try creating my own engine yet, thinking about giving it a whirl soon though. When you are on the buying facilities screen why does engine facility 3 - 5 show up in gold? It's not a premium feature is it?
Question: I had a 4 star sponsor on my side pods (5 star prestige). I had one race left with them and decided not to auto renew and get me a 5 star sponsor to replace them. So I put the time into a 5 star and this morning (when my old sponsor expired) I got them, 100%. But they aren't giving me an offer for the newly available chassis part. Do I have to wait another race with no sponsor on it until they make an offer?
Taking me ages too. It's gonna take much longer for me than 1 season I think as well. I'm using ferrenzi chassis and it will probably be 3 or 4 seasons before I can match that, that's with 200 assistants, level 4 facilities.

If you have a bit of cash just look to next year for new drivers, there are currently about 20 or 30 drivers left for next year with full talent. Just make this season all about earning some cash if you can't compete. But get in quick if you can, this is pretty much the only chance to get a &^%$ hot driver, they will all get snapped up soon.someone joined the league and is a full second faster than my best driver.
